At the end of the season in late September we had visit from good friends from Finland filming and fishing in our two great rivers in east Iceland, Breiðdalsá and Jökla. We have not seen aerial photos from those rivers before so they did kindly put togheter for Strengir a short video which can be seen here.
First part is from Breiðdalsá river which clearly show the stunning landscape of the Breiðdalur valley and beauty of this uniq river. Then we see fishing on the main river Jökla where the wader is then little green following á small spate. At the end we can see crystal clear tributary of Jökla named Kaldá river which is close to our Jökla lodge. Great video and well done!
I would like to mentione also that Iceland seems to be more popular than ever so some weeks are getting full already so early bookings are advisable!
